Ford Farms Cyderworks uses uses only fruit grown on our farms for our cider. We grow organically, without chemical pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides.

The four categories required for the best cider blend are represented:

  • Sharp: high in acid, low in tannin
  • Bittersharp: high in acid, high in tannin
  • Bittersweet: low in acid, high in tannin
  • Sweet: low in acid, low in tannin

We have grafted our own trees from scionwood collected from orchards in France, England, and the East Coast to get the best varieties for cider.

 

Place your order before
February 15, 2007!

Our scion wood is now available for home grafting. We cut and ship via first class or priority mail in February. The price for a pencil width 12" piece is 2.00 per, discount if over 10 pieces of one variety of 20%. Please place your order before February 15, 2007 to ensure that you get the varieties you want.
